Why is cloud computing POS often called real time POS?

A cloud computing POS is considered a real time POS since it reports the data from the retail location to the internet in real time. The owner or manager of the location can then view the data gathered almost instantly. For instance, say that a store employee just sold a pair of shoes. The information will then be instantly transmitted from the location to the LivePOS servers and from there, can be accessed by the store owner in real time
